The Vision

Our vision is that by 2035 Dover will be one of the most prosperous towns on the South Coast, characterised by a highly skilled and enterprising community that is proud of its town, its port and its heritage.

Located at the heart of the East Kent – Pas de Calais sub regional economy, it will have a distinctive cluster of maritime based activities including the port, a range of high value port related businesses, maritime research and higher education.
