Objectives

Dover Pride is a partnership of business, local and regional organisations and the people of Dover. Our aim is to make the town a great place to live, work and visit.

The partnership aims to support the long term improvement and regeneration of Dover and renew a sense of pride in our community.

The Dover Pride strategy sets out a vision for Dover with a programme of action to deliver the following objectives:

• Transform community aspirations

• Enhance learning, skills and enterprise 

•  Realise the potential of port expansion

• Generate and attract new business activities 

• Raise the town's profile as a visitor destination

• Strengthen the community and reduce deprivation

• Restructure the town and improve the environment

• Upgrade transport links and accessibility
